Position Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career as a Legal Writer in the immigration practice area. You’ll work with a collaborative team of attorneys and support staff, drafting correspondence and legal documents that help businesses navigate immigration matters. You’ll gain hands-on experience in legal writing, research, and document preparation in a fast-paced, professional environment with full training provided.
What You’ll Do:
• Draft correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents related to immigration matters
• Research legal topics and investigate facts to support attorney work
• Prepare documents for review by immigration officers and government officials
• Collaborate closely with immigration attorneys and the wider team
• Manage deadlines and coordinate with government timelines
• Proofread and edit documents for accuracy and clarity
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or a paralegal certificate from an accredited paralegal programme
• 2+ years of experience in a business immigration practice or related legal field
• Strong proofreading, editing, and reading comprehension skills
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to translate complex facts into clear, persuasive written content
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
No prior legal writing experience is required—we provide full training and support to help you succeed from day one.
