What We’re Looking For:
Strong typing skills and familiarity with medical terminology.
Experience in a medical office, medical transcription, or healthcare billing setting (or willingness to learn).
Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with physicians and patients.
Your Impact:
As a vital member of the clinical team, you’ll work closely with the physician to ensure accurate and timely documentation. Your responsibilities will include:
Recording and summarizing physician-patient conversations and consultations accurately in the electronic medical records system.
Managing clerical tasks such as printing reports and scheduling appointments.
Documenting examination findings, treatment recommendations, and clinical assessments as directed by the physician.
Answering phones, scanning documents, checking patients in and out, and supporting workflow efficiency.
Monitoring examination rooms to ensure adequate supplies and a clean, comfortable environment for patients.
Supporting patient flow by guiding patients to appropriate areas and ensuring proper follow-up care is scheduled.
Learning each physician’s preferences and adapting your approach accordingly.
Maintaining awareness of patient communication (verbal and non-verbal) to ensure understanding of medical instructions and providing written materials when needed.
Notifying the physician of schedule changes and emergencies promptly.
Entering charge information as directed by the physician.
Skills/background needed:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a medical office, medical transcription, or healthcare billing/coding is preferred but not required—we provide full training.
Basic knowledge of medical coding concepts is a plus.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to remain focused and professional in a patient-centered environment.
