About This Role
This is a part-time, ongoing remote position where you’ll create engaging social media content for multiple clients. You’ll be editing video, designing graphics, managing accounts across platforms, and communicating with our team and clients on a regular basis.
What You’ll Do
• Edit video at an intermediate to advanced level using industry-standard software
• Design graphics and carousel content in Canva with a polished, consistent aesthetic
• Manage day-to-day content across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
• Build and maintain content tracking systems, including design links for approval and edits sent ahead of deadline
• Stay current on platform trends and updates
• Communicate with team and clients via text, email, and team chat tools depending on the client
• Post on schedule and adjust quickly when timelines shift
• Work independently once given clear direction
• Maintain a portfolio you can speak to in detail
Skills/background needed: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, video editing, and graphic design using professional tools. Extreme attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, self-directed work style, and the ability to work during Pacific Time hours. You understand social media trends and what resonates with audiences. A portfolio with specific accounts or campaigns you’ve personally worked on is essential.
What Won’t Work
This role is not suitable if you’re building your first social media portfolio, need training in core design or editing tools, prefer low-touch freelance work without regular availability during the week, or are not comfortable with fast, direct, ongoing communication.
Contract length: Ongoing, part-time
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Location: Remote. Must be available during Pacific Time business hours.
