About the role
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. You’ll work on paid digital media campaigns, organic social media management, analytics, and campaign optimization across multiple client accounts. This is a hands-on role where you’ll build and manage campaigns, analyze performance data, identify opportunities for improvement, and present clear recommendations to clients and internal teams.
You’ll collaborate with designers, writers, strategists, and clients to develop campaigns and content. You’ll also write or edit digital ad copy, social media content, and stay current with changes across advertising platforms and the broader digital landscape.
What You’ll Do
• Build, manage, monitor, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and other digital channels
• Manage organic social media programs, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, monitoring, and performance analysis
• Develop audience, targeting, channel, and campaign recommendations based on client goals
• Monitor campaign performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve results
• Analyze paid media, social media, website, and other digital performance data to uncover trends and actionable insights
• Translate data into clear, understandable recommendations for clients and internal teams
• Prepare recurring performance reports that explain what happened, why it matters, and what to do next
• Conduct keyword, audience, competitor, and market research to inform digital strategies
• Collaborate with team members to develop campaigns and content
• Write or edit digital ad copy, headlines, calls to action, and social media content
• Manage multiple client accounts, campaigns, priorities, budgets, and deadlines
Skills/background needed
We’re looking for someone who sees digital marketing as an ecosystem, not isolated channels. Ideally, you have:
• Hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns, particularly Google Ads and paid social
• Understanding of both paid and organic social media strategy and execution
• Comfort with data and enthusiasm for digging into performance to understand what’s happening
• Knowledge of key metrics such as click-through rate, cost per click, cost per thousand impressions, cost per lead, conversion rate, return on ad spend, engagement rate, reach, and frequency
• Ability to identify trends, anomalies, opportunities, and potential problems within campaign data
• Understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, tracking parameters, pixels and tags, and clean data measurement
• Working knowledge of analytics tools and digital advertising or social media reporting platforms
• Ability to explain digital marketing concepts and results in plain language to non-specialists
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Solid organizational and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously
• Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment
• Naturally curious and motivated to keep learning as digital marketing evolves
Nice to have
Experience with Google Search, YouTube, or Display advertising; Meta Ads Manager; LinkedIn Campaign Manager; social media content strategy and editorial calendars; reporting and dashboard tools; search engine optimization; landing page strategy and conversion rate optimization; email marketing; Canva or other design tools; short-form video editing; or AI-assisted marketing and content tools.
