Role: Technical Writer & Content Strategist
Contract length: 6-month contract
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application

About the role:
You’ll support the creation and strategy of documentation, user interface copy, and in-app content for a web-based software platform. This role involves auditing existing content and voice guidelines, developing content standards, and writing help articles, interface copy, and user guidance.
You’ll work alongside product, design, and engineering teams to understand project needs, contribute to product launches, and ensure users receive clear, consistent, and helpful information.
What you’ll do:
• Technical writing and documentation (~50% of your time)
• Content strategy development (~30% of your time)
• User interface copy and microcopy (~20% of your time)
Skills & background needed:
• Experience writing technical documentation and user-facing content
• Familiarity with help center platforms (such as Zendesk)
• Experience with in-app guidance tools or user onboarding platforms
• Ability to conduct content audits and present findings clearly
• Strong writing skills across technical, interface, and user-facing content
• Experience collaborating with design teams and working in UI design tools like Figma
• Comfortable using AI-assisted writing tools
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Ability to read and understand analytics data
• Independent work style with strong communication skills in remote settings
• Attention to detail and high writing standards
Tools you may use:
Team chat app, GitHub, project tracking tools, documentation platforms, UI design tool, help center software, in-app guidance platforms, and analytics dashboards.
