This is a fully remote position. You will work from home, collaborating with a team dedicated to improving educational assessment and learning outcomes worldwide.
About the role:
We’re looking for a Content Writer to help develop educational assessments and learning materials. You’ll work on creating test items, writing assessment content, and developing materials that help educators measure student learning across different subjects and grade levels. This role involves creating various types of questions and assessment tasks, reviewing content quality, and collaborating with other team members to ensure consistency and excellence.
What you’ll do:
• Contribute to the development of assessment content and educational materials
• Create different types of test questions and assessment items
• Use databases and content management tools to track and edit your work
• Develop detailed specifications and guidelines for assessment materials
• Review and provide feedback on colleagues’ work
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to meet deadlines
• Participate in training and workshops to develop your skills
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting to different timelines
• Help maintain quality and consistency across all content
• Study current best practices and trends in education and assessment
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to take feedback and collaborate with a team
• Experience with Google Docs, Google Sheets, or similar tools is helpful but not required
• Willingness to learn new tools and systems
• Experience in education, teaching, or educational assessment is preferred but not required
