About This Role
We’re looking for a Technical Content Writer to join our fully remote marketing team. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone eager to develop expertise in technical writing. You’ll work from home with flexible scheduling, collaborating with a small team across multiple time zones.
What You’ll Do
You’ll create technical content that helps practitioners understand complex topics in data platforms and cloud infrastructure. Your output will include:
Guides and Long-Form Content
Research, outline, draft, and revise comprehensive guides on data management and cloud cost topics. You’ll structure complex technical material in a way that’s clear and useful to practitioners. You’ll incorporate feedback from subject-matter experts and technical reviewers throughout the revision process.
Blog Posts
Produce regular technical blog posts on data optimization and platform topics. You’ll write based on patterns and real-world observations, and adapt content from longer-form assets or develop standalone pieces tied to platform updates and practitioner needs.
Webinar Support
Develop research outlines, speaker scripts, and frameworks for webinars. You’ll collaborate with technical presenters to shape structure while preserving their voice, and ensure content accuracy for the same audience reading your written work.
Skills and Background Needed
Ideally, you’ll have some experience writing about technical topics—whether from previous writing roles, technical documentation, or educational content. You should be comfortable learning new platforms and technologies as you go.
Key strengths for this role:
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to practitioners who already know the basics
• Comfort with independent research and fact-checking
• Strong editing and self-review skills—you know when something needs another pass
• Genuine interest in data platforms, cloud infrastructure, or related technical fields
• Experience or familiarity with data engineering, cloud services, or similar domains is a bonus
• Willingness to work with subject-matter experts and integrate feedback into your drafts
