Position Summary
You’ll develop clear, compelling proposals in response to government solicitations. This role collaborates with subject matter experts, project managers, and leadership teams to produce high-quality submissions that meet all requirements. You’ll work in a small, collaborative team where every member contributes to meeting tight deadlines with transparency and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze government solicitations and develop response strategies
• Support proposal development from initial planning through final submission
• Write, edit, and format technical, management, and executive summary sections
• Develop proposal outlines and compliance checklists to ensure all requirements are met
• Work with subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into clear, persuasive language
• Create compelling responses using active, efficient writing techniques
• Build in win themes and value propositions throughout proposals
• Coordinate with pricing teams to align narrative and cost documents
• Manage proposal schedules, outlines, and content deadlines
• Participate in proposal reviews and incorporate feedback
• Maintain proposal libraries, templates, and reference materials
Skills/background needed
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Experience writing persuasive proposals
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strategic thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to simplify and explain complex information clearly
• Strong project management and time management skills
• Experience collaborating across different teams and departments
• Analytical mindset with a focus on compliance and accuracy
Nice to have
• Prior experience with proposal writing or business development
• Professional certification in proposal management or business development
• Experience writing for government or large organizations

Work Environment
This is a remote position. You may be asked to work extended hours during active proposal submission periods. Occasional travel for team meetings or planning sessions may be required.
