About the role
We’re looking for creative writers with fluent Spanish language skills to adapt marketing and entertainment content for audiences in Latin America. This is a fully remote freelance position perfect for writers who enjoy working across different content types and bringing brand messaging to life in culturally relevant ways.
You’ll work on translating and creatively adapting marketing materials, entertainment content, and multimedia projects. The role involves understanding cultural nuances, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring content resonates with local audiences—not just literal translation, but culturally intelligent adaptation.
What you’ll do
• Translate and creatively adapt marketing, entertainment, and multimedia content for Latin American Spanish audiences
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure high-quality output across different platforms
• Research cultural context and local trends to make translations culturally relevant and engaging
• Provide feedback on creative projects to help them succeed
• Adapt tone and style to match different brand guidelines and project requirements
Skills/background needed
• Fluent English and native-level Spanish (Latin America) with excellent writing ability in Spanish
• 3+ years of experience in translation, transcreation, or creative writing in marketing or entertainment
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and how to adapt messaging for different audiences
• Experience translating entertainment content (TV series, film synopses, promotional materials) is a plus
• Familiarity with translation software tools is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Marketing, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred
