About the role:
We’re looking for a Proposal Writer to join our growing team. In this fully remote position, you’ll develop strategic proposals and presentations for clients in the energy and utilities sector. You’ll work with business development leaders and project managers to create compelling, high-quality client-facing materials that showcase our capabilities and expertise.

What you’ll do:
• Develop and write strategic proposals, presentations, and supporting materials for client pursuits
• Work with leadership teams to understand client needs and positioning strategy
• Research and analyse competitor offerings to inform proposal messaging
• Create and refine proposal narratives that clearly communicate our value and expertise
• Maintain and organise proposal content libraries and project materials
• Support interview preparation and presentation strategy for client meetings
• Ensure all client-facing materials align with brand standards and quality guidelines
• Collaborate with team members across departments to gather technical and project information
• Help mentor and support other proposal team members
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Experience developing proposals, RFPs, or client presentations (entry-level experience welcome)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with design tools like Adobe InDesign, Canva, or similar software (or willingness to learn)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Interest in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors is a plus but not required
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote teams
• Full training will be provided – no prior proposal experience required
