We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Chat Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll work from home helping customers resolve their questions and technical issues via live chat, email, and phone.
This is a perfect entry-level position if you’re patient, have good communication skills, and want to start a career in customer support. We provide full training on all the tools and processes you’ll need to succeed.
What You’ll Do
Respond to customer inquiries via live chat, email, and phone with helpful, friendly support. Troubleshoot common technical issues and guide customers through solutions. Log customer information accurately and keep detailed notes about every interaction. Escalate complex issues to the right department when needed. Follow up with customers to ensure their problems are resolved and they’re satisfied with the support they received. Work within our quality assurance standards to maintain excellent service.
Skills and Background Needed
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. 0–2 years of customer support, technical support, or help desk experience (or none at all – we train from scratch). Basic comfort with computers and common software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong ability to solve problems and handle multiple tasks at once. A genuine desire to help customers and patience when working through difficult situations.
Nice to have:
Experience with support ticketing tools or platforms. Familiarity with CRM systems. Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
