We’re seeking a Customer Engagement Representative to provide exceptional customer support from home via chat, email, and phone. This hourly contract role involves resolving customer inquiries, creating and assigning leads, and upholding customer service excellence. You’ll play a key part in helping customers move forward in their journey.
What You’ll Do
Provide warm, responsive support across email, chat, and phone
Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and guide them forward
Use scripts and tools to create a consistent, quality customer experience
Assign leads to the right partner agents or teams
Troubleshoot questions or concerns with clarity and care
Flag issues to the relevant operations team as needed
Jump in on additional tasks to help keep things running smoothly
Role Details
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application
Contract type: Independent contractor
Duration: Short-term contract with potential extension
Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week, flexible shifts available
Location: Fully remote—work from anywhere
What You’ll Need
Clear communication skills in spoken and written English
Ability to learn and adapt quickly
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 100 Mbps recommended)
Access to a backup internet option (e.g., mobile hotspot)
A computer or laptop capable of running required systems
A quality headset for voice calls
Webcam for meetings and training
Nice to Have
Experience with help desk software or remote support platforms
Familiarity with Google Workspace
Experience in high-volume customer environments
Bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred)
Outbound calling experience
