We’re looking for a social media manager to help manage our social media accounts and grow our online presence. You’ll create engaging content, manage posts, respond to followers, and help shape how our brand appears across all platforms.
This is a fully remote position, so you can work from anywhere. You’ll be expected to post content and engage with followers on a regular basis, including weekends.
In this role, you’ll work with a small team to bring creative ideas to life, design and implement social media strategy, monitor engagement and traffic metrics, respond to customer comments and reviews, and suggest new features to build brand awareness. You’ll also stay current with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and digital tools.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement social media strategy aligned with business goals
• Research current trends and understand what your audience prefers
• Set objectives and track performance results
• Create, edit, and publish engaging content daily across all social media platforms (text, photos, videos, news)
• Monitor web traffic and engagement metrics
• Communicate with followers and respond to questions and reviews in a timely manner
• Manage the visual appearance and design of social media accounts
• Suggest and implement new features like promotions and competitions to build brand awareness
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, design tools, and new platform features
Skills/background needed:
• Experience creating content (text, images, videos)
• Comfortable using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn)
• Familiarity with content management tools
• Knowledge of basic SEO and Google Analytics
• Experience with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Mailchimp, and Canva
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
Prior experience is helpful but not required. Full training will be provided. A portfolio of your previous work is welcome but not necessary to apply.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
