About the Role:
We’re looking for an entry-level Social Media Manager to join our team and help build engaging online communities. This is a fully remote, full-time position perfect for someone eager to launch their career in social media and digital communications. No prior experience is required—we’ll provide full training and support as you grow in the role.
What You’ll Do:
Social Media Strategy & Content Creation
Work with the team to develop and execute social media strategy across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Create, curate, and schedule engaging content including graphics, videos, and articles. All content will be reviewed and supported by experienced team members to ensure quality and alignment with organizational goals.
Community Engagement & Monitoring
Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and feedback. Respond to inquiries in a friendly and professional manner. Learn how to identify trends and popular topics that resonate with audiences. You’ll receive guidance on best practices for maintaining positive community relationships.
Analytics & Reporting
Work with analytics tools to track how content is performing. Learn to interpret metrics like engagement rates and reach. Prepare simple reports that help leadership understand what’s working and where we can improve. Your team will teach you how to turn data into actionable insights.
Collaboration & Support
Partner with colleagues across different departments to ensure consistent messaging. Participate in team meetings and brainstorm sessions. Provide research and analysis on key topics when needed. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to learn from experienced professionals.
Staying Current
Keep up with the latest social media trends and platform updates. Help the team integrate new tools and techniques into our communications strategy. Share ideas for how we can improve our online presence.
Skills/background needed:
Enthusiasm for social media and digital communications. Comfort using platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Familiarity with basic design tools such as Canva is a plus but not required. Strong written communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and ask for help when needed. Reliability and a willingness to learn on the job. No prior professional experience necessary.
