We’re looking for a creative and organized part-time Social Media & Content Creator to help build our online presence and tell compelling stories through video, graphics, and written content. This role offers hands-on experience in social media management, video production, graphic design, and community engagement—all while working flexibly from home or on location as needed.
You’ll work on a variety of projects including creating short-form videos, designing social media graphics, filming interviews and testimonials, developing content calendars, and supporting promotional campaigns across multiple platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to build a portfolio, develop real-world media skills, and make a meaningful contribution to community outreach efforts.
What you’ll do:
• Create, edit, and publish engaging video content including short-form reels and promotional clips
• Design social media graphics and promotional materials using design tools
• Capture photos and videos at events and community activities for social media and promotional use
• Conduct interviews and gather testimonials from community members and partners
• Develop and assist with content calendars and social media campaign ideas
• Research media opportunities including local radio, newspapers, podcasts, and community publications
• Support promotional efforts across multiple media channels
• Assist with general administrative and communication tasks as needed
Skills/background needed:
• Passion for storytelling and community engagement
• Strong communication skills and creativity
• Experience or willingness to learn: Canva, video editing software, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Reliable transportation for location-based shoots and events
• No prior professional experience required—full training provided
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
