Social Media Coordinator – Part Time (Remote)

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and enthusiastic Part-Time Social Media Coordinator to help bring engaging content to life online! You’ll play a key role in creating content, managing social channels, and building a connected community across digital platforms.

You’ll work with a supportive team to highlight exciting moments and activities while keeping social channels active, consistent, and engaging. This is a perfect entry-level role for someone passionate about social media and community building.

Responsibilities:

Capture and create photo and video content for social media platforms

Create and edit content for social media (posts, reels, stories, etc.) using tools like Canva or similar editing software

Schedule and publish content across platforms in alignment with brand voice and campaign goals

Manage day-to-day social media activity, including posting stories, engaging with followers, and responding to direct messages and comments

Collaborate with other teams to promote events and special activities

Help brainstorm and execute creative content ideas that engage your audience

Maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels

Track basic performance metrics and share insights on what content resonates with your audience

Assist with on-site support at events when needed to capture key moments

Skills/background needed:

Passion for social media and community building

Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok

Basic photo and video editing skills (mobile editing, Canva, or similar tools)

Strong communication and organizational skills

Creative mindset with an eye for engaging, shareable content

Comfortable working evenings and weekends

Self-starter who can take initiative and manage tasks independently

No prior professional experience required—full training provided for the right candidate!

Nice to have:

A personal social media presence

Experience creating content for brands, events, or communities

Knowledge of trending content and viral-style formats

Contract length: Ongoing part-time position

Hours: Flexible, part-time (evenings and weekends required for content capture)

Location: Mix of on-site at local venues and events, plus remote work for editing and scheduling
