About this role
We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Specialist to join our team. You’ll create engaging digital content across multiple platforms, manage our social media presence, and help build community engagement. This is a fully remote position perfect for someone starting their career in content creation and social media management.
What you’ll do
Strategy & Planning
Work with the marketing team to develop social media and email strategies that align with our goals. Set measurable objectives for campaigns, such as growing brand awareness, increasing engagement, and building community. Monitor and respond to comments and messages to build an active, engaged online community.
Content Creation
Create varied, compelling content for social media platforms including text posts, images, videos, and carousels. Write engaging captions, scripts, blog posts, newsletters, and email copy that match our brand voice. Shoot and edit photos and videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and our website. Maintain consistency in tone and messaging across all channels. Plan and organize content using a content calendar to ensure timely, strategic posting.
Analytics & Reporting
Track engagement metrics, views, and reach to understand what’s working. Identify trends and insights from data to improve future campaigns. Prepare monthly performance reports to show results and areas for improvement.
What we’re looking for
Skills/background needed: You should have a strong interest in social media and content creation. Experience with content creation tools like Canva is helpful. Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook) and basic understanding of how they work is important. Excellent writing and communication skills. Ability to think creatively and manage multiple projects at once. A portfolio or examples of your previous work (videos, photos, writing, or social media posts) is a plus.
