About the role:
We’re looking for an entry-level Marketing Assistant to join our team. You’ll support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, social media content, and promotional activities. This is a perfect starting role if you’re organized, creative, and eager to learn how marketing works in a real business environment. You’ll work on multiple projects at once and help maintain our brand across different platforms.
What you’ll be doing:
Marketing & Brand Support
• Help develop and implement marketing campaigns
• Coordinate marketing materials, advertisements, and promotional activities
• Keep brand messaging consistent across all communications
• Create and share marketing content, including social media posts, newsletters, and presentations
Content & Social Media
• Create and schedule posts across social media platforms
• Monitor social media engagement and respond to messages
• Help with photography, video, and graphic design projects
• Update website content and keep information current
Events & Promotions
• Assist with company events, product demonstrations, and community activities
• Help with event planning, promotional materials, and vendor communications
• Support product launches and promotional programmes
Marketing Administration
• Maintain marketing calendars and project timelines
• Organize digital files and marketing materials
• Track marketing expenses and help with budget reporting
• Manage mailing lists and customer databases
• Prepare reports on campaign performance
Sales Support
• Help the sales team with presentations and customer materials
• Coordinate promotional requests and point-of-sale materials
• Support lead generation and customer follow-up activities
Skills/background needed:
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Strong organization and time-management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Comfort using Canva or similar graphic design tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented approach
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds
• Willingness to travel occasionally to events or customer locations
What we’re looking for:
You don’t need years of experience – we’re happy to train the right person. We’re looking for someone who is creative, organized, and genuinely interested in marketing. You should be comfortable working independently and taking on new tasks. A background or degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business is helpful but not required. If you have 1–3 years of any marketing, communications, or administrative experience, that’s a bonus.
