About the role
We’re looking for an entry-level Social Media & Marketing Strategist to join our team. You’ll develop, implement, and optimise marketing strategies across multiple channels including social media, email, digital advertising, and web content. This is a full-time position where you’ll work with internal teams to create targeted campaigns, write engaging copy, and analyse performance data to drive real results. No prior experience is required – we provide full training and support.
What you’ll do
Strategic Campaign Development & Execution (35%)
Develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies across email, digital advertising, social media, print, and web. Collaborate with team members to ensure campaign messaging is consistent and on-brand. Plan timelines, manage execution, and track performance to optimise engagement and conversion rates.
Content Development & Copywriting (25%)
Write and edit copy for email campaigns, web pages, social media posts, digital ads, print materials, and video scripts. Ensure all content matches the brand voice and is tailored to the target audience. Work with the creative team to align copy and design with overall campaign strategy.
Audience Segmentation & Personalisation (20%)
Use marketing platforms to develop targeted campaigns for different audience groups. Implement testing, automation workflows, and behavioural triggers to improve campaign effectiveness. Tailor messaging and visuals for each segment and stage of the customer journey.
Performance Analytics & Optimisation (15%)
Track and analyse marketing metrics including click-through rates, conversions, and engagement. Use Google Analytics and reporting tools to measure campaign effectiveness. Provide insights and recommendations for improving campaign performance and budget allocation.
Collaboration & Project Management (5%)
Work with internal teams to ensure marketing efforts support overall priorities. Help manage marketing calendars, deadlines, and vendor coordination.
Skills/background needed
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field is preferred. We welcome candidates with some experience in marketing, content development, or communications, but we’ll train you on everything you need to know. Familiarity with multi-channel marketing campaigns and digital platforms is helpful but not essential. Experience with CRM systems or Google Analytics is a plus.
