Chat Support Specialist – Work From Home (No Experience Required)

About this role

We’re looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Chat Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for our customers. You’ll handle incoming support requests, resolve common issues, and escalate more complex problems to the right team. This is a fully remote role where you’ll work from home, manage a support queue, and help customers succeed with our platform.

What you’ll be doing

Support & Ticket Management

• Be the first point of contact for customer support requests via chat, email, and ticketing systems
• Triage and prioritize tickets based on guidelines
• Document all interactions clearly and completely in our support systems
• Resolve straightforward issues independently and escalate more complex ones to the support team with full context
• Monitor your queue and flag any tickets that need attention before deadlines

Customer-Facing Support

• Provide friendly, professional support to customers using our platform
• Help customers with account management, password resets, permissions, and troubleshooting
• Conduct training sessions for customers on platform features and best practices
• Identify opportunities to help customers make the most of our tools

Quality & Compliance

• Follow all support procedures and escalation paths
• Contribute to our knowledge base by documenting solutions and how-to guides
• Participate in team training and calibration sessions to maintain quality and consistency

Collaboration

• Work clearly with team members when escalating issues
• Share observations about common customer issues with your team to help improve processes
• Represent the company professionally and courteously in all interactions

Skills/background needed

• No prior experience required—we provide full training
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, queue-driven environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests at once
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to troubleshoot software and explain solutions clearly
• Customer-first attitude and willingness to help
