Role Summary: We’re looking for a friendly, organised, and patient individual to join our remote team as a Chat Support Specialist. You’ll help customers by answering questions, handling requests, and providing clear, helpful support via live chat. This is a full-time remote position that offers full training to help you succeed, even if you’ve never done this type of work before.
About the Role: As a Chat Support Specialist, you’ll engage with customers in a fast-paced environment, responding to inquiries, resolving common issues, and escalating more complex requests to the right team member when needed. You’ll build positive relationships with customers and work closely with your team to maintain a high standard of service. The training provided will teach you all the software, tools, and processes you’ll need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming chat messages and provide friendly, helpful support
- Listen carefully to customer needs, confirm details, and resolve concerns
- Use provided software and tools to assist customers effectively
- Route complex inquiries to the appropriate team member
- Build positive, trusting relationships with customers
- Maintain clear communication and attention to detail while handling multiple chats
- Learn new tools and systems as they are introduced
- Meet team performance expectations while delivering consistent, high-quality support
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/background needed:
- Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong written communication skills for chat-based support
- Friendly, patient, and professional attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Comfortable learning and using new software and tools
- Reliable internet connection with download speeds of at least 25Mbps and upload speeds of at least 5Mbps
