Chat Support Specialist – Veterinary (Full Time, Remote)

Work Location: Remote, fully work from home. Open to applicants worldwide.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM Central Time. Some holiday availability required.

About The Role:

We’re looking for a Chat Support Specialist to provide friendly, knowledgeable support to veterinary professionals. You’ll be the voice customers trust, helping them solve problems via chat, email, and video calls. If you have a background in veterinary work and enjoy helping others navigate technology, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Respond to customer support requests via live chat, email, phone, and video calls
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and escalate when necessary
  • Triage and prioritize customer requests so urgent matters are handled first
  • Work with internal teams to resolve challenges and get customers back on track
  • Keep detailed notes on customer interactions and follow-ups
  • Build strong relationships through patient, clear, and empathetic communication
  • Troubleshoot software and equipment-related issues with confidence
  • Participate in training and development to grow your skills
  • Manage your workload effectively, balancing multiple requests with strong time management

Skills/background needed:

  • 3+ years of experience in veterinary medicine
  • Veterinary Technician Certification or License (required)
  • 2+ years of customer-facing or customer service experience
  • A reliable internet connection and suitable workspace for video support
  • A PC or laptop with video conferencing capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A patient, positive, and solutions-focused attitude
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Familiarity with practice management software (a plus)
  • Experience troubleshooting equipment and hardware (a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with compliance and record-keeping in veterinary settings (a plus)
  • Software support or helpdesk experience (a plus)
