Technical Writer/Editor – Entry Level (Remote)

Roles: Writing and editing work products including reports, briefings, internal communications, and web content. You’ll collaborate with teams to ensure written materials are clear, well-organized, and meet editorial standards. This is a fully remote position.

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length: Permanent, full-time.

Location: Open to applicants worldwide. Work from home.

Skills/background needed:

No prior experience required. We provide full training.

You’ll need:

• Strong writing and editing skills, with excellent grammar and attention to detail
• Ability to read complex information and simplify it for different audiences
• Comfort with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel)
• Basic familiarity with web content and how to write clearly online
• Good time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Willingness to learn style guides and editorial standards
• Ability to collaborate with team members at all levels
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience with design tools like Canva, Adobe software, or social media platforms is a plus but not required.

What you’ll do:

• Draft and edit reports, briefings, and written communications
• Work with authors to make their writing clearer and more organized
• Proofread documents for accuracy and consistency
• Help present complex data in easy-to-understand formats (charts, infographics, tables)
• Manage web content and ensure it meets accessibility standards
• Develop and maintain editorial style guidelines
• Coordinate the editing and publishing process
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Serve as a resource to team members on writing and editing questions
• Contribute to internal and external communications
