Junior Technical Writer – Pharmaceutical Documentation (Remote)

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented writer to join our team creating technical documentation for the pharmaceutical industry. You will be responsible for authoring, editing, and maintaining controlled documentation that complies with regulatory standards and industry best practices. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including quality, regulatory, production, and project management to ensure all technical documents are accurate, clear, and delivered on time. Full training will be provided—no prior pharmaceutical experience is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Author, edit, and maintain technical documents including procedures, protocols, reports, and regulatory submissions
  • Ensure all written materials meet regulatory requirements and quality standards
  • Work with team members across different departments to align on document deliverables and project timelines
  • Assist in managing controlled documents within document management systems, tracking versions and distribution
  • Support process improvement initiatives related to writing standards and compliance
  • Help prepare documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring technical writing meets current regulatory standards
  • Document and track changes to processes and procedures, ensuring updates are properly recorded

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a life science, chemistry, engineering, or related field is preferred. Experience or certification in technical writing is a plus, but not required for entry-level candidates.

Skills/background needed:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with document management systems is helpful but can be learned on the job

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
