Summary

This role focuses on preparing and reviewing customs documentation for submission to regulatory authorities. You’ll work with clients and government agencies to ensure all paperwork is accurate, compliant, and filed on time. Your responsibilities will include researching regulations, communicating with stakeholders, tracking clearances, and maintaining detailed records. No prior experience is required – we provide full training to get you up to speed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and prepare customs documents for accuracy and compliance before filing

• Verify classification and valuation details with clients when needed

• Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements

• Gather and organise supporting documents to back up claims and information

• Track customs clearances and flag any delays or issues for resolution

• Communicate with internal teams, clients, and government agencies to resolve customs matters

• Keep up-to-date with current customs regulations and procedures

• Maintain accurate, organised records of all customs transactions

• Attend training sessions and participate in ongoing professional development

• Support the creation and implementation of customs compliance procedures

Skills/background needed:

• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
