We’re looking for an entry-level Sports Multimedia Journalist to join our team. This is a full-time role perfect for someone passionate about telling compelling sports stories across multiple platforms.
You’ll work from home creating engaging content for digital platforms, social media, and broadcasts. No prior experience is required—we provide full training in all the tools and skills you’ll need to succeed. If you’re a self-starter who loves storytelling and wants to build a career in sports journalism, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll do:
• Research, write, and produce sports stories that go beyond basic coverage
• Shoot, edit, and present content for digital platforms, social media, and news coverage
• Create engaging videos, articles, and social-first content
• Cover live sporting events and breaking news
• Build relationships with athletes, coaches, and community sources
• Work independently while meeting daily deadlines
• Develop content with an audience-first mindset across all platforms
Skills/background needed:
• A passion for sports and storytelling
• Strong writing skills
• Willingness to learn video shooting and editing (training provided)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good on-camera presence and communication skills
• Comfortable working collaboratively with a team
• No prior experience required—enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are what matter most
