Role: Technical Writer – Procedure Documentation

About the Role:
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team on a focused project reviewing and updating site procedures and technical documentation. You’ll work in a structured environment where accuracy, clarity, and compliance are essential. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procedure documentation in a professional, fast-paced setting.
What You’ll Do:
• Review and evaluate existing procedures and technical documentation
• Identify procedures that need updating, consolidation, or removal
• Rewrite and improve procedures to ensure they are clear, accurate, and compliant
• Work with team members and subject matter experts to validate changes
• Ensure all documentation meets regulatory, operational, and quality standards
• Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Conduct research and gather information from team members to understand complex processes
Skills/Background Needed:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent English grammar
• Ability to take complex technical information and write it clearly for different audiences
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and PDF tools
• Strong research and interviewing skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
• Great communication and teamwork skills
Preferred (But Not Required):
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Journalism, or related field
• Prior experience with procedure documentation or governance processes
• Experience with documentation review projects
