About the Role
As a junior medical writer, you will work on projects involving data analysis from clinical trials and the presentation of this analysis in various formats including posters, reports, and publications. The work is structured on a project-by-project basis, and you will typically work on three or four projects at any one time across a range of disease areas, providing variety and the opportunity to develop a wide skill set.
You will work in project teams alongside experienced colleagues who will provide training on the technical aspects of the role as well as project management and effective client communication. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with clients, and following a successful onboarding period you will increasingly participate in team meetings and client interactions.
This role offers hybrid flexibility, allowing you to work from home for up to half of your working time. You will be based at the workplace for collaborative team activities and client meetings.
What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities may include:
• Analysing clinical data and research findings
• Creating written content including abstracts, reports, posters, and presentations
• Collaborating with clients and senior colleagues on project deliverables
• Learning to communicate complex scientific information clearly and creatively
• Supporting the development of materials for healthcare professionals and stakeholders
• Participating in project meetings and team discussions

Skills/background needed:
Essential requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (life sciences preferred)
• Excellent written and spoken English fluency
• Ability to communicate scientific material clearly in writing and verbally
• Strong understanding of scientific concepts
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience with scientific writing such as lab reports, research summaries, posters, presentations, or literature reviews
• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• A genuine interest in healthcare and eagerness to learn about clinical science
