Position Summary
We’re looking for an entry-level Content Writer to join our marketing team. You’ll help create and manage web content, email campaigns, and blog posts that reach our audience. No prior experience required—we provide full training on all systems and processes.
This role involves writing optimized web copy, drafting marketing emails, editing content for accuracy and style, and supporting broader marketing initiatives. You’ll work with a supportive team and learn industry best practices in digital marketing and content production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Content and Web Copy Writing
• Write and publish web copy optimized for search visibility
• Research and write blog posts aligned with content strategy
• Review, edit, and approve content written by team members
• Monitor and correct website content for accuracy, style consistency, and grammar
Email Marketing Copy
• Write and help implement marketing emails that engage audiences
• Ensure email templates work well on all devices
• Understand audience segments and tailor messaging accordingly
General Marketing Support
• Support team projects including website updates, copywriting, and digital marketing materials
• Proofread and edit content across multiple formats (web, email, blogs, press releases)
• Maintain brand consistency and quality standards across all content
Skills and Background Needed
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required)
• Strong writing skills with attention to grammar and spelling
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Familiarity with Google Docs and basic web tools (no advanced technical skills needed)
• Organised approach to work and willingness to learn new systems
We’ll train you on search engine optimization basics, content management systems, email marketing platforms, and Associated Press style guidelines. Prior marketing or copywriting experience is helpful but not required.
