About the role:
As a Service Writer, you’ll help manage service operations to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient workflows. You’ll work closely with your team to optimize processes, schedule work assignments, manage work orders from start to finish, and maintain strong communication across all departments.
What you’ll do:
• Manage the complete work order cycle—from creation through invoicing and closing
• Schedule and assign jobs to team members based on their skills and availability
• Review work orders for accuracy and completeness before billing
• Monitor and help improve Service Department processes
• Communicate with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth operations
• Assist customers with parts inquiries in person and over the phone when needed
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, and customers
• Participate in company training to develop your knowledge and skills
Skills/background needed:
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and internet-based tools
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service mindset
• Reliability and punctuality
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Prior service department experience is a plus, but not required—we’ll provide full training
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, Saturday 8am–12pm
