About the role:
We’re looking for a Proposal Writer to join our team on a full-time basis. You’ll write, edit, format, and proofread proposals and related documents. This is a remote position with the flexibility to work from home, though occasional in-office availability may be needed.
What you’ll do:
• Create, write, edit, proofread, and format proposals and related documents including management sections, technical sections, cover letters, past performance documents, pricing sections, resumes, and templates
• Collaborate with team members, subject matter experts, and other departments to develop proposals
• Integrate writing contributions into one cohesive, compliant proposal that meets client needs
• Review proposals for compliance against requirements
• Follow style guidelines and standards
• Occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet deadlines
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3 years of experience writing and editing proposals
• Impeccable writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to spelling, grammar, punctuation, and context
• Expert skills in Microsoft Word and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and cloud storage platforms
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach to work
• Effective communication skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to handle multiple tasks successfully under tight deadlines
