About This Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized Technical Writer & Administrative Assistant to join our team. You’ll support leadership with technical documentation, proposal materials, administrative coordination, and document management using SharePoint and other tools.
This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level or early-career professional to develop real experience in technical writing, proposal support, and business administration. No prior experience is required—we provide full training and mentorship.
What You’ll Do
Technical Writing & Proposal Support
• Draft, edit, proofread, and format technical documents, proposals, reports, presentations, and administrative materials
• Support leadership and proposal teams with document preparation, research, and content development
• Assist with preparing government proposal materials and related documentation
• Maintain document version control and ensure content is organized and accessible
• Prepare presentations, briefing materials, and meeting documentation
• Conduct research from internal and external sources to support documentation
• Build and maintain organized libraries of technical and corporate materials
Administrative Support
• Provide administrative support including scheduling, meeting coordination, and correspondence
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, presentations, and action-item trackers
• Track deadlines, deliverables, and follow-up activities to ensure timely completion
• Maintain organized electronic records, files, and templates
• Assist with internal communications, reporting, and special projects
• Coordinate information and documentation across teams
Document Management
• Manage and organize SharePoint libraries, folders, and digital content
• Ensure documents are current, properly formatted, and searchable
• Support document archiving, retrieval, and version control
• Help maintain consistent document naming and filing practices
• Assist with maintaining internal knowledge repositories
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 0–3 years of experience in technical writing, administrative support, or proposal coordination (or willingness to learn)
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others
• Good research and problem-solving skills
Nice to have: Any experience with government or federal contracting documentation, document management systems, or content management platforms.
