About the role:
We are looking for a Technical Writer/Editor to research, write, edit, and proofread technical documentation including manuals, procedures, and specifications. You will ensure all technical content is accurate, complete, and meets quality standards. This role involves working with graphics, charts, and diagrams, editing drafts for clarity, and communicating with team members and clients to deliver clear, professional documentation.
What you’ll be doing:
• Research, write, edit, and proofread technical data for manuals, procedures, and specifications• Ensure documentation is accurate and meets all quality and style standards• Create high-quality documentation that is clear and easy to follow• Work with graphics, charts, and diagrams to enhance documentation• Review and edit rough drafts for format, clarity, and compliance• Manage document routing and maintain records• Communicate any obstacles or issues to your team• Work with writers, designers, clients, and team members• Handle administrative tasks as needed
Skills/background needed:
• Strong knowledge of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and capitalization• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• Ability to create and edit tables, charts, and flowcharts• Excellent communication and organisational skills• Ability to review writing constructively• Strong attention to detail• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Flexible approach to changing priorities and deadlines• Analytical problem-solving skillsFull training will be provided. Prior technical writing experience is a bonus but not required.
