About the role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Proposal Writer to join our team. You’ll compile and structure technical information into clear, well-organised documentation that stakeholders can easily understand. This is a great entry-point role into technical writing and proposal development.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Gather and structure researched technical information in clear, accessible formats for stakeholders• Create documentation following established formatting and governance standards• Maintain and update baseline documentation as needed• Review documentation submitted by team members for accuracy, completeness, and compliance• Coordinate with subcontractors on documentation workflows and deliverables• Ensure all departments and teams are aligned on key information• Translate contract requirements into clear, compelling technical narratives• Provide progress reporting and performance analysis• Research and evaluate potential partners or subcontractors to assess their capabilities and fit• Work independently and collaboratively depending on project needs
Skills/background needed:
• Experience writing technical reference materials or governance documentation (or willingness to learn)• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work both on your own and as part of a team• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Illustrator is a bonus, but not required• No prior proposal writing experience necessary – we provide full training
