We’re looking for an entry-level Multimedia Journalist to join our news team. In this role, you’ll report on stories, shoot and edit video content, develop story ideas and sources, and produce engaging content across multiple platforms including web, social media, and broadcast.
This is a full-time, in-person position. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team environment where you’ll develop your skills in visual storytelling, technical production, and independent reporting.
Roles: Reporting, shooting and editing news stories, pitching story ideas, developing news contacts, producing daily content across multiple platforms.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent role.
Skills/background needed: A minimum of 2 years of reporting experience is required. You should have experience with live broadcast segments. Strong news judgment, the ability to tell compelling visual stories, and excellent technical production skills are essential. You must be able to work independently and meet daily deadlines. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required for this role.
