About the role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Specification Writer to join our team. In this entry-level position, you’ll prepare technical specifications and coordinate drawings before customer sign-off, and review design documents for accuracy. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our workplace.
No prior experience in this field is required – we provide full training to get you up to speed. If you’re dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn, we want to hear from you.
What you’ll do:
• Prepare and manage technical specifications and drawings
• Review design documents for accuracy and completeness
• Write clear technical descriptions covering materials, functions, and locations
• Prioritize tasks effectively in a structured work environment
• Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Communicate clearly with colleagues in writing and in person
What we’re looking for:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (training provided)
• Comfortable with typing and data entry
Preferred qualifications:
• Associate degree in business or related field
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Background in technical writing or a related field
• Experience with inventory management systems
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. Start time between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM. Overtime may be available, and occasional Saturday work may be required.
