We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team in supporting documentation review and procedure development initiatives. This is a short-term, high-impact opportunity to work on evaluating and updating procedures in a compliance-driven environment.
About the role:
As a Technical Writer, you’ll review and evaluate existing documentation, assess alignment with regulatory requirements, identify procedures requiring updates, and rewrite them for clarity and compliance. You’ll collaborate with team members and subject matter experts to validate changes and ensure all documentation meets operational and quality standards. This role offers excellent experience in a fast-paced environment with tight project timelines.
What you’ll do:
• Review and evaluate existing site procedures and technical documentation
• Assess documentation alignment with current and regulatory requirements
• Identify procedures requiring revision, consolidation, or removal
• Update and rewrite procedures to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance
• Collaborate with team members and experts to validate procedural changes
• Ensure documentation meets regulatory, operational, and quality standards
• Support rapid turnaround timelines in a fast-paced project environment
Skills/background needed:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in procedure writing, technical writing, or policy documentation (entry-level candidates welcome with transferable writing experience)
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong command of English grammar
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, accessible content for various audiences
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management tools
• Strong research skills and ability to gather information effectively
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Journalism, or related field
• Prior experience in regulated industries or government environments
• Familiarity with documentation governance processes
• Experience on documentation review projects
• Previous security clearance
