About This Role
In this position, you’ll work with internal leadership to create informative content about investment management, financial planning, and wealth services. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, develop content calendars, and produce written pieces across multiple formats including articles, newsletters, social media posts, and reports. Your role will involve researching topics, interviewing experts, writing with clarity and authority, and ensuring all content meets compliance standards.
You’ll take ownership of content projects from conception through publication, managing timelines and working with internal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency. This role offers real exposure to the financial services industry and the opportunity to develop your expertise in financial writing.
What You’ll Do
• Research and write financial content pieces including reports, articles, newsletters, and social media content
• Collaborate with investment professionals and analysts to understand complex topics and translate them into clear, engaging content
• Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with company strategy and market insights
• Adapt your writing style and tone for different audiences and content formats
• Manage the editorial process, including research, interviews, drafting, editing, and compliance review
• Coordinate with marketing and production teams to deliver polished, error-free content on schedule
• Stay informed about developments in financial content and industry trends to inform your ideas
• Manage multiple priorities and adjust timelines as needed while maintaining attention to detail
Skills/Background Needed
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• Strong writing and editing skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts in an accessible, clear tone
• Ability to research topics thoroughly and interview subject matter experts to extract key insights
• Project management skills and comfort adjusting to changing priorities and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt your writing and messaging for different audiences and formats
Full training will be provided on financial products, company processes, and content standards. Prior financial writing experience is helpful but not required—we welcome motivated writers ready to develop expertise in this field.
