About the role:
This is an entry-level position supporting web content strategy, website maintenance, and content organisation across multiple digital properties. You’ll work in a consultative and technical capacity, helping website administrators and teams improve their online presence through better content, user experience, and best practices.
You’ll work remotely and collaborate with a small team to manage content, advise on web strategy, and ensure all web properties maintain consistent quality and organisation standards.
What you’ll do:
• Support website users and administrators by understanding their content needs, answering questions, and helping resolve issues
• Review, edit and create web content across multiple websites; draft clear, concise copy that improves user experience
• Work on website migration projects, planning site structure and organising content
• Analyse website performance using tools like Google Analytics to identify improvements and opportunities
• Implement basic SEO practices to improve content discoverability
• Help train and support website administrators on content management best practices
• Contribute to project planning and workflow documentation
• Create and maintain training materials and guides for content management systems
• Advise teams on web content strategy, information architecture and layout improvements
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing or Journalism (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience with content management systems and web authoring tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to edit and proofread content carefully
• Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools
• Basic experience with project management and customer support
• Comfortable learning new software and tools quickly
• HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus but not required
• Experience creating training materials or documentation is helpful
• All experience levels welcome – full training provided
Rate:
Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
