We’re looking for an energetic and organized Communications Assistant to support our marketing and outreach teams. If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment and thrive when coordinating multiple projects, this could be a great fit for you.
In this role, you’ll provide administrative and project support to help our team succeed. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively to manage ongoing tasks and short-term projects. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm while managing multiple priorities are essential.
What you’ll do:
• Provide administrative support to the communications team, including coordinating email campaigns, assisting with press releases and media materials, tracking media coverage, handling mailings, conducting media research, and managing social media tasks
• Coordinate seasonal marketing activities and promotions, including maintaining spreadsheets and managing promotional campaigns
• Process and distribute materials to clients and partners
• Maintain accurate data in department systems and databases
• Provide general administrative support, including processing invoices, managing subscriptions, and coordinating projects
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining professionalism
Skills/background needed:
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities with keen attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn
• Experience with graphic design tools like Canva is a plus
• Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
• No prior experience required – full training will be provided
