Marketing Coordinator – Entry Level

About the Role:

This is an entry-level marketing coordination position working within a hospitality and entertainment environment. You’ll support the marketing and sales team by handling administrative tasks, processing inquiries, coordinating events, and helping to develop promotions that drive business growth. What You’ll Do:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Field incoming sales inquiries by phone and email, directing them to the appropriate team member
• Help with scheduling, reservations, and coordinating group arrivals
• Process contracts, check requests, and vendor documentation
• Assist in developing and coordinating promotional campaigns
• Support special event coordination, including room assignments and confirmation calls
• Conduct property tours and greet group visitors
• Maintain activity logs and contact tracking systems
• Provide availability and pricing information for accommodations and services
• Generate reports and monitor activity data
• Handle office administration including ordering supplies, managing files, and preparing sales materials
• Create documents and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Skills/Background Needed:

• High school diploma or GED (or currently enrolled with commitment to complete within six months)
• Comfortable using Windows-based computers and standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction from multiple supervisors
• Comfortable operating standard office equipment (copier, calculator, fax)
• Good organizational and multitasking skills
• Mature, professional demeanor with ability to maintain confidentiality
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed
• Ability to travel for training as required
• Any prior experience in hospitality, guest services, front desk, or concierge roles is a plus but not required

Rate:
