Marketing Manager – Channel Strategy & Outbound Growth, Entry Level

About the Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our outbound channel strategy and help reactivate dormant customer relationships across our marketplace. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own everything from writing persuasive campaign messaging to analysing performance data and optimizing our marketing spend. You’ll work across multiple outbound channels—phone campaigns, field visits, and customer research—to drive real business results.

This role combines creative copywriting, analytical thinking, and project management. No prior experience in this exact space is required—full training will be provided. You should be comfortable with both the creative side (writing scripts and messaging) and the data side (tracking metrics, running tests, optimizing budgets).

What You’ll Be Doing

Channel Strategy & Optimization

You’ll audit and improve our existing outbound campaigns to understand what’s working and what isn’t. This includes reviewing performance data, identifying opportunities to increase customer reactivation rates, and working with external partners (call centers, field agencies) to hold them accountable to quality standards. You’ll also revamp campaign messaging and phone scripts using proven persuasion techniques to help win back inactive customers.

Campaign Expansion & Coordination

You’ll expand our outbound efforts by creating targeted, localized campaigns and coordinating across multiple touchpoints—ensuring that customers receive a consistent, unified message whether they’re being contacted by phone, visited in person, or surveyed. You’ll also partner with analytics teams to track how physical touchpoints connect to actual business results.

Performance Management & Budget Stewardship

You’ll own the budget for our marketing channels and make data-driven decisions about where to invest. You’ll track key metrics like customer acquisition cost and payback periods, run tests to improve campaign performance, and eliminate vanity metrics in favour of real business impact. You’ll also work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all campaigns meet regulatory standards.

Skills & Background Needed

You should have:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience• At least 2 years of experience with marketing platforms or CRM systems• Strong attention to detail and project management skills• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work across teams• Comfort with data analysis and a willingness to learn new tools• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-have experience includes vendor management, direct-response marketing, or background in regulated industries like financial services or fintech. However, if you’re strong in the core areas and eager to grow, we’ll invest in training you.

Why This Role

You’ll have real ownership of a strategic channel and see the direct impact of your work on business results. You’ll develop skills in copywriting, data analysis, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration—all highly transferable to future marketing roles. We provide full training and support as you grow into the position.
