About the Role:
This is an entry-level position perfect for someone starting a career in marketing and planning. You’ll work as part of a dynamic team supporting the development and implementation of planning initiatives, route analysis, and marketing projects. No prior experience in this field is required—full training and mentorship will be provided.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll assist with transit planning, route development, and schedule analysis under the guidance of an experienced manager. Your day-to-day work will include analyzing performance data to spot improvement opportunities, supporting marketing and public information campaigns, managing creative projects, and coordinating community outreach events and presentations.
You may also help coordinate advertising programs, provide technical direction on marketing materials, and work with local schools and organizations to share information about services.
Skills/Background Needed:
A bachelor’s degree in communications, business, marketing, public administration, planning, urban studies, geography, or a related field is preferred. We welcome candidates whose combination of education and work experience demonstrates they can grow into this role.
You should be comfortable working with common software tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, or mapping software is a bonus but not required. We’ll provide training on any tools you’ll be using on the job.
