We’re looking for a communicative problem solver with an interest in vehicles to join our team as a Service Writer. In this on-site role, you’ll help customers receive the quality service they need while working in a supportive shop environment.
This is a full-time position. If you have gaps in your resume or have been out of the workforce, don’t worry – we believe in giving everyone a chance to prove themselves.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
The role
In this position, you’ll effectively communicate with customers and technicians to facilitate smooth service operations. You’ll speak with customers about the issues they’re experiencing and help identify problems. You’ll schedule service appointments, create clear repair orders for technicians, and generate cost estimates for parts and labor. When vehicles are ready for pickup or if any problems arise, you’ll promptly inform customers. Your attention to detail and dedication are vital to our success.
Your day-to-day
Monday through Friday, you’ll be based at our shop location. Weekend availability may be preferred. Your responsibilities include customer communication, vehicle inspection support, appointment scheduling, repair order creation, cost estimation, and customer updates throughout the service process.
Skills/background needed: No prior experience is required. We provide full training on the job. You’ll need a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent. We’re looking for someone who is communicative, detail-oriented, and genuinely interested in helping customers and learning about vehicles.
Contract length: Permanent, full-time
