We’re looking for a Proposal Writer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to develop your writing, editing, and proposal coordination skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
No prior proposal experience is necessary—we provide full training and mentorship to help you succeed in this role. You’ll work with a team that values clear communication, creative problem-solving, and attention to detail.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll support our proposal team by:
Coordinating with team members to prepare proposals, including formatting, layout, writing, and proofreading
Responding to external requests for qualifications and prequalification materials
Creating proposal materials such as project summaries, case studies, and professional bios
Developing presentation materials and slide decks for client presentations
Researching and writing project descriptions, qualifications, and related content
Analyzing proposal requests and editing content for clarity, consistency, and compliance
Managing proposal files and databases to ensure proper organization and closeout
Collaborating with technical professionals, marketing teams, and internal staff to gather information and refine proposal content
Meeting deadlines by organizing priorities and coordinating information gathering across teams
Proofreading and fact-checking all proposal documents for accuracy and quality
Skills and background we’re looking for
Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to grammar and punctuation
Good organizational and communication abilities (both written and verbal)
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Comfortable multitasking and working both independently and as part of a team
An eye for visual design, layout, and clean formatting
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Familiarity with presentation software and standard office tools
Strong proofreading abilities and attention to detail
Ability to research and synthesize information clearly and concisely
A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field is preferred but not required if you have strong writing samples and relevant experience.
Experience with design software like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a bonus but not essential—we’ll support you in developing these skills.
