About the role
We’re seeking a Leasing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll support property operations with a focus on leasing, marketing, and resident relations. You’ll work to maintain occupancy through engaging with prospective clients, assisting current residents, and managing the leasing process from start to finish.
What you’ll be doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Greeting prospective clients warmly, understanding their needs, and presenting property features in a professional and friendly manner
Answering incoming phone calls and directing callers appropriately, whether they’re prospective residents, current residents, team members, or vendors
Completing lease applications and assisting with verification processes
Maintaining accurate client records and updating daily reports on occupancy, vacancies, and activity
Keeping the property tour route clean and well-maintained to ensure a positive first impression
Assisting residents with day-to-day requests as part of community support services
Skills and background needed
You’ll ideally have:
1-2 years of customer service or sales experience (though we welcome candidates eager to learn)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A warm, friendly, and professional manner with people
Basic computer skills including typing and written communication
High School Diploma or equivalent
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering excellent service
Physical capability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, and to lift up to 20 pounds regularly
Experience in leasing, real estate, or property management is a plus, but not required.

Work environment and physical demands
This is an on-site role. You’ll work both indoors and outdoors across the property, spending time at the leasing office, showing apartments, and maintaining common areas. You may be exposed to various weather conditions throughout the year. You’ll regularly stand, walk, use your hands for typing and handling materials, and may need to climb, stoop, or squat as part of daily duties. Travel to other properties for training or support may occasionally be required.
