About the Role: We’re looking for someone to join our trade and shipping services team. You’ll help process import shipments, manage customs documentation, and support our clients with timely, accurate service. This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta, with office and remote work flexibility.
What You’ll Do:
• Prepare and submit customs entries to ensure shipments are cleared promptly
• Review and collect required documentation from clients and partners before cargo arrives
• Track shipments with carriers and update internal systems with status information
• Verify import security filing data for accuracy and ensure timely submission
• Coordinate final delivery with clients and logistics providers
• Handle billing and support collections activities as needed
• Communicate proactively with clients about shipment updates, delays, or holds
• Generate reports for internal and external use
• Build strong relationships with clients and service partners
• Stay informed about customs regulations and tariff changes to maintain compliance
Skills/background needed:
• 2 years of experience in customs brokerage or entry processing (required)
• Knowledge of customs regulations and commodity classification
• Familiarity with shipping modes: air freight, ocean freight (container and less-than-container), and domestic trucking
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general office software
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Contract length: Full-time, permanent
