Position: Content Writer – Multilingual Media Analysis

About the role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Content Writer to monitor and analyse news and media content across multiple languages and regions. You’ll deliver timely, contextual insights on regional events and trends, translating and interpreting content, and creating reports for senior leaders.
What you’ll do:
- Monitor news, magazines, online publications, television, and social media across designated regions
- Identify and track media trends across political, economic, cultural, and security topics
- Draft comprehensive reports on significant regional events
- Provide written and oral translation and interpretation services
- Create culturally sensitive social media content and recommend engagement strategies
- Provide analysis during crisis situations and special projects
Skills/background needed:
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Professional fluency in at least one additional language (Arabic, Farsi, Turkish, Russian, Hebrew, or Urdu preferred)
- Experience monitoring and analysing news across multiple media formats
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity
Nice to have:
- Experience with data analysis tools such as spreadsheet software
- Background in media analysis, regional studies, or international affairs
