About This Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic High School Teacher to inspire and guide students through their academic journey. What You’ll Do
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Deliver instruction in core subjects including Math, Literacy Education, Creative Writing, and Physical Education
• Utilize educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences and adapt lessons for different learning styles
• Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a respectful and inclusive environment
• Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide timely feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional strategies
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress
• Mentor students academically and personally, fostering growth in confidence and critical thinking
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills
Skills/background needed
• Experience teaching high school students in a classroom setting
• Knowledge of core academic subjects such as Math, Literacy Education, and Physical Education
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to adapt lessons based on individual learning styles
• Classroom management and behavior management skills
• Familiarity with educational technology tools and online learning platforms
• Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and classroom management
