Service Writer – Entry Level, Full Time

A Service Writer connects customers with technicians and manages the repair process from start to finish. You’ll greet clients, understand their needs, write repair orders, suggest relevant services, and handle scheduling and payments. No prior experience required—full training will be provided.

Core Duties

Customer Service: Greet clients warmly, listen to their concerns, and explain technical issues in simple, easy-to-understand language.

Service Recommendations: Suggest maintenance and services that meet customer needs.

Estimates: Write clear price quotes for parts and labor, and confirm approval with customers.

Scheduling: Book appointments, track repair progress, and keep customers updated on pickup times.

Invoicing: Process payments, explain final bills clearly, and handle warranty information.

Skills/background needed: High school diploma or equivalent; ability to communicate clearly in writing and conversation; comfortable learning shop software and point-of-sale systems; organized and able to manage multiple tasks; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Bilingual abilities and prior customer service experience are a plus, but not required.

Contract length: Full Time, on-site position
